The Captain - Sketch

I am done.... done I tell you! I am so very very very proud of this completed piece.... I have been waiting so long to get around to doing a sketch from LotR, and here it is!

It took me one ENTIRE HB pencil to finish this! I have calluses on my fingers and my wrist hurts, but it was worth every bit of effort! It looks a lot better in person because I'm still trying to figure out the best ways to get pictures of my work, now that I have the camera tripod....

It might have taken me 12 hours but I wasn't really counting... I stretched the project over three days... or four.... I forget. And the sizing.... sizing is around 18" x 24" ... this is becoming one of my favorite sizes to work with!
